Despite the lower earnings estimates for 2016 and 2017, Bob but kept the same price "potential" for the S&P500 stock market index.  Details:
  • Bob lowered his S&P500 earnings estimates to $118 and $127 from $120 & $128 for years 2016 and 2017, respectively.
Bob Brinker remains bullish & fully invested in his model portfolios.
  • Bob has had P1 &P2 at 100% stocks since 2003, thus making Bob Brinker the high priest of the Church of Buy and Hold!

  • On January 15, 2016 when the S&P500 was below 2000,  Bob got concerned and "rebalanced" his P3 portfolio from about two thirds in stocks back down to half in stocks.

  • Today, Bob continues to recommend dollar cost averaging new money into the market.
